One feature of smart phones is that enables users to play back digital video and audio on the go, here we just

with multitouch capabilities. Besides this, Palm Pre Plus has doubled internal memory from 8GB to 16GB, so you can
store more videos, music, and photos on it, and access them whenever and wherever at will.
To enjoy Blu-ray and DVD movies on the Pre Plus, two things you need consider: firstly, the file format, secondly,
the capacity of your device. First off, let’s see the Pre Plus supported file formats:
Playback Digital Video Formats: H.264, MPEG-4, H.263 video and AMR audio
Supported Digital Audio Standards: AAC, AMR, MP3, WAV, AAC +, eAAC+
In addition to copy protections (CSS, AACS, BD+), DVD movies, especially the Blu-rays always has large file size,
so we need a tool to assist us to remove protections as well as compress file size, or select a specific clip for
playback. When it refers to this function, Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper is recommended.
Part one: About Pavtube Blu-Ray
Ripper:
It is an all-in-one Blu-ray and DVD ripper, converter and editor. With this application you can directly rip Blu-ray
and protected DVD movie from the discs without other decryption software and convert them to compatible video and
audio formats to transfer to Palm Pre Plus, iPod, iPhone, PSP, Apple TV, Blackberry, Gphone, 3GP, Zune, Xbox 360,
Creative Zen, Archos, Nokia, DV, Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas etc for playback and editing.

track, so you will never miss your mother language.
Part two: How to rip Blu-ray and DVD movies for Palm Pre Plus with your required file size
alt="bdrippertotal100226.jpg" />
Step 1: Launch Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper and
import Blu-ray/DVD files to it
There are three ways to load Blu-ray and DVD files: through “DVD Rom”, “DVD Folder” and “IFO/ISO”.
Step 2: Select output format for Palm Pre Plus
Since Palm Pre Plus supports playback H.264, MPEG-4, H.263 video, here I choose “H.264 Video (*.mp4)” as output
format.
alt="bdripperformat100226.jpg" />
Step 3: Customize file quality and file size
Click “Settings” button, and then the following interface will show up, on which you are able to adjust bit rate, frame
rate, sample rate, aspect ratio, etc. to make control of the output file size and quality. To compress the file size, what
you should do is changing the figures of these options to be smaller only. One more thing you must be sure that
there will be some quality loss if you compress them to be a much smaller size, which means you’d better make a
balance between the size and image quality. At least the output video quality should be acceptable by
yourselves.
alt="bdripperprofile100226.jpg" />
Step 4: Start Blu-ray/DVD ripping
As long as the former three steps are set well, then you can click “Convert” button to start Blu-ray/DVD ripping. Once
finished, you can find out the output files via clicking “Open” button. After that the generated files are prepared for
playback on your Palm Pre Plus.
Additional tips:

You can click on the “Edit” button on the main interface firstly, and then click on “Trim” icon. After that you can drag
the slider bars below the preview window to mark the beginning and the end of your clip during the preview, or you
can input the certain time into “Start” and “End” boxes directly to do your selections.
