Disappointing

Looks nice, but….
1. Sometimes it crashes when you take and upload a new pic within the app. Sometimes it doesn’t.
2. Pix from the camera roll are only uploaded at 800×600 (on an iPhone 3G) instead of 1600x 1200. (Yes, most apps are limited to 800×600, but you can upload full res photos by copying them from the camera roll and pasting them into a mail message.)
3. And uploads don’t respect existing geotags: you can only choose to tag with your current (at time of upload) location, or none at all.
Looking forward to improvements….

Great to see an official app. This is a well-designed, fun app. Great visual presentation (love the zoomy home screen), clean & simple interface.
But:
- it’s SLOW, and seems to slow down more and more with use. Commenting takes forever
- it focuses purely on one’s network – so you can’t explore the global ‘interesting’ set, for instance
- no groups! Though group activity appears in the ‘recent’ section

Finally an official app!…Nice clean, easy to navigate user interface.
Pros:
1) Landscape mode.
2) Two views, thumbnail and thumbnail with picture title.
3) Ability to email picture.
4) Search
Cons:
1) Can’t delete a picture.
2) Can’t delete comments.
3) Can’t zoom in or out of a picture.
4) Can’t edit tags or picture title.
5) Can only email one picture at a time.
6) Can’t save pictures from the app to iPhone/iPod touch photo’s.
All in all a nicely done app, just needs the above added.
